We strive for excellence in education.
Our children are a priceless investment,
Not a liability.
Schools are the hope of the future,
Not a business.

Celebrations 2007
The Chinooks Edge division wide Pd day in 2007 was a well organized, resounding success this year in Didsbury.    School children had the day off while teachers s t  r  e  t c h e d their mind and in some cases their bodies with a change of pace.   Thanks to Chinooks Edge for supplying lunch and to Pd Chair Laura Lee Hrabok and entire P.D. committee for arranging all the sessions.  A lot of home grown talent was evident. with session of everything from Yoga to looking at innovative technology like Bio Fuel.   Many session provided hand-outs ready for use.   Of particular interest was the taste of a day long session on bullying put on by the ATA.    Many resources were highlighted, the focus was on group discussion of strategies, and a cool cartoon video  "Bully Dance" was shown.  The video is available at www.nfb.ca/showpeace
